This Privacy Policy explains how img.shred ("we," "our," or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. img.shred is developed by Tuğcan Topaloğlu.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes our practices regarding data collection—or more accurately, our commitment to not collecting your data.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

img.shred is built on a privacy-first architecture. We want to be explicitly clear about what we do NOT do:

• Photos and Media: We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your photos, videos, or media files. All scanning and analysis happens entirely on your device.
• Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifiers.
• Usage Analytics: We do not track how you use the app, what features you access, or how often you use the app.
• Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or hardware information.
• Location Data: We do not access or collect your location.
• Contacts: We do not access your contacts or address book.

3. How the App Works

img.shred operates entirely on your device:

• Local Processing: All photo scanning, duplicate detection, and similarity analysis is performed locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device algorithms.
• No Cloud Services: Your photos are never uploaded to any server, cloud storage, or external service.
• No Internet Required: The core functionality of scanning and analyzing your photos works without an internet connection.

4. Permissions We Request

img.shred requires the following permissions to function:

Photo Library Access

We request access to your photo library to scan and analyze your photos for duplicates and similar images. This access is used solely for on-device processing. Your photos never leave your device.

Notifications (Optional)

If you enable scheduled scan reminders, we request notification permissions to send you local reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication.

5. In-App Purchases

img.shred offers an optional one-time purchase for Pro features. This purchase is processed entirely through Apple's App Store infrastructure. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information. Apple handles all payment processing according to their privacy policy.

6. Data Storage

Any data stored by img.shred (such as scan results, preferences, and purchase status) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data:

• Remains on your device only
• Is not transmitted to any external servers
• Is deleted when you uninstall the app
• Can be removed by clearing the app's cache in Settings

7. Third-Party Services

img.shred does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service interaction is with Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

8. Children's Privacy

img.shred does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect data, there are no special provisions needed for children's data.

9. Data Security

Since all data processing occurs locally on your device and no data is transmitted externally, your information benefits from the security measures built into iOS, including:

• Device encryption
• App sandboxing
• Secure Enclave protection

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

11. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, correction, deletion, etc.) are not applicable in the conventional sense. However, you always have full control over your data:

• You can revoke photo library access at any time in iOS Settings
• You can clear cached scan data within the app
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
